Musical Notes: the February music playlist. A monthly musical love note listing the earworms, artists, and bands that have had me in a chokehold over the course of the last month.

Welcome to the first of many Musical Notes posts. The plan is that each month, I’m going to feature some of my favourite sounds in a neatly compiled list.
In February, I spent a lot of time listening to BBC 6Music, Radio X, and discovering some amazing female-fronted bands via Spotify and Youtube. The result is amalgamated into this month’s Musical Notes, and it’s a corker. My music taste was ace in February, if I may so say so myself.
Below, you’ll find a slew punk and post-punk bands, some wild female vocals, and of course, easy-listening indie.
