If you’re anything like me, you’ll need a pretty good reason to get up at 5 am for a scheduled 5K. I won’t just do it off my own back. I like my bed way too much. I’ve got to have a goal or a reason for getting up and out for that run. That’s vital.
As a kickstart for some inspiration, I’ve found five Manchester-based races that you can sign up and train for right now. All five races take place between June and October 2022. From a muddy charity run to a hefty half marathon, hopefully these running races serve as divine inspiration.
Remember, it’s never too late to start running. It’s also never too early to start training either. I know I need all the time I can get right now.
