Whether a recent convert or long-time lover of low-abv beverages, Tanqueray are making it known that holding on the alcohol doesn’t mean skimping on the taste. Perfect as a serve with tonic and lime or as a cocktail base, Tanqueray 0.0% is definitely the only gin you need stocked in your home bar this summer. Boston Shaker at the ready.
Tanqueray made a splash earlier this year with the release of their latest creation – a 0.0% alcohol-free London Dry Gin. Crafted with the same botanicals at its alcoholic sister (think: liquorice, juniper and classic citrus), Tanqueray 0.0% is easy-drinking, delicious and of course, guilt-free.
Anita Robinson, Tanqueray Marketing Directive, said via press release:
“As the producer of one of the bestselling gins in the world, we know that Tanqueray 0.0% is an experience that gin lovers will not want to miss out on and we are incredibly proud to be bringing gin drinkers that juniper and citrus led taste they’re expecting from Tanqueray when they choose not to drink alcohol.”

Regarding the non-alcoholic gin’s potential as a cocktail ingredient, Pippa Guy, Tanqueray GB Brand Ambassador said via press release:
“The liquid has a flavour that shines through in sophisticated cocktails. That means you do not have to compromise on quality and taste if you choose not to consume alcohol. We’re challenging bartenders and consumers to sip it to believe it”.
Move over obligatory ‘Diet Coke please’ and say hello to drinking glorious cocktails without any of the side-effects. Below, are five of our favourite drinks you can create using Tanqueray 0.0% London Dry Gin.
Note: We will be creating a separate recipe page for each of these cocktails with tasting notes and photographed in all their glory over the next few weeks. For now however, enjoy their outlined recipes below.
Southside
A Southside is essentially a mojito taking a vacation in gin paradise. This is a gin-based, sour cocktail. The Southside is made up of 50ml gin (we’re using Tanqueray 0.0% of course), 20ml fresh and punchy lime juice, 15ml of sugar syrup and 5-6 sprigs of fresh mint.
Muddle ingredients together in a Boston before adding ice and shaking. Double strain into a cooled coupe. Add fresh mint to garnish and voila!
If you want to crank this cool drink up even further, add a few slices of cucumber to the mix. Trust us.
Bees Knees

A cocktail for nature-lovers and Manchester-fanatics alike; The Bees Knees incorporates honey, lemon and gin to get us buzzing. A drink with origins dating back to the Prohibition era, the Bees Knees is simple and shaken.
Add 50ml of citrusy Tanqueray 0.0% to a Boston. Spoon in two teaspoons of honey (we recommend this one), 25ml lemon juice and ice. Shake it like Polaroid picture before straining into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a delicate lemon twist. Best served alongside sunshine.
Greyhound
Sometimes your bitter side gets the best of you. The Greyhound cocktail is a celebration of that fruitier stroke of your personality. Quick and easy, add 50ml of Tanqueray non-alcoholic gin to 100ml grapefruit juice. Serve over ice, garnish with a lime. Sip and watch the drama unfold, baby.
Clover Club
The daintiest drink in town just got a guilt-free spin and we’re obsessed. Create the perfect pink Clover Club at home using: Tanqueray 0.0% gin (50ml), 20ml fresh lemon juice, 3 fresh muddled raspberries, 20ml of Monin raspberry syrup (for that extra fruity kick) and an egg white.
If you are put off by the idea of an egg white, why not opt for OGGS Aquafaba in your Clover Club? Aquafaba is a vegan egg alternative, made from chickpea water. The OGGS Aquafaba produces the same fluffy cocktail head as an egg white. It’s virtually tasteless, too!
Sling all ingredients in a Boston. Shake it like your mother made it before double straining into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a raspberry.
Gin Caipirinha
A gin-spin on the classic summer Caipirinha. If you like your drinks tasting sweet and strong, then take this non-alcoholic cocktail for a spin.
Muddle half of a lime with two teaspoons of honey before adding 50ml of Tanqueray 0.0% gin and ice. Pour into a Boston. Shake it up before straining into a rocks glass filled with more frozen H2O. Garnish with lime wedges cut into quarters and tah-dah – Gin Caipirinha.
