music: all four walls, gorgon city

Whether it be: under the golden Croatian sun; between the walls of Sankeys Ibiza or even blasting from Manchester’s grimey Mint Lounge – Gorgon City‘s new track, ‘All Four Walls’ is poised and prepared to become the defining, future sound of Summer 2016.

The infectious ‘All Four Walls’ marks the return of the highly-acclaimed Gorgon City, a North-London duo, consisting of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, who’ve stayed relatively quiet (until now) since the release of their 2014 debut album, Sirens. The collective, who found fame in 2014 with heavy club track, ‘Ready For Your Love’, are rolling out the big guns in 2016, with party anthem ‘All Four Walls’ at the helm of their domination. The matured track is already on course to rival their previous single – which reached number 4 in the charts – success.

Breaking their silence, Gorgon City’s ‘All Four Walls’ features a nod to tropical house, as well as showcasing the soulfully-charged vocals of the ethereal Vaults, in full-frontal glory. Combining these opposing elements with a swanky club pop tone; it seems that Gorgon City are on to a real winner. Easy listening while still managing to pack a punch, ‘All Four Walls’ is a smorgasbord of sounds. A congratulations might be in order for the London lads when their track hits the airwaves this summer.

Expect to hear and feel the weighty ‘All Four Walls’ on the White Isle of Ibiza this summer, as Gorgon City are set to take up residency at AMNESIA. They’ve got a stellar line-up of guests at their curated event, including: Hannah Wants, MK and Claptone. So, if you find yourself at a loose end this summer season, you know where to head.

‘All Four Walls’ is set to feature on Gorgon City’s forthcoming Money EP, out May 13th via Crosstown Rebels.
