The giants behind monstrous takeover track, ‘Sail’, have returned to the forefront of music – due to the release of their second album, Run. The latest single to be taken from the LP, ‘Woman Woman’ last night (February 22nd) had it’s video premièred by the loveable James Cordon on his Late Late Show. AWOLNATION take a bow.
Fronting their second record, the unstoppable driving-force of ‘Woman Woman’ is accompanied by a female-empowering video – of which can be watched below. Speaking about the ideas behind the video, creative director, Marc Klasfeld said: “It’s a celebration… A hymn to all women“.
The track itself manages to capture the heart of AWOLNATION, and present a warmer-yet-refined version of the American electronic band that we’ve previously seen before. There are of course however deep-rooted, classical elements to ‘Woman Woman’ which can be found on the bands debut LP, Megalithic Symphony.
